I often play this recording for folks in order to explain the Swiss Army Bass.  Then I usually give up. The bulk of what you hear here (bass & distorto keyboards) is pretty unadulterated other than some feedback. This Song was Originally recorded Circa  '96 with Mark Hutchins on Drums (Click here for alt. version). I saw fit to re-record in winter of 02 for the final remixed & tweezed version of the album. The vocals on this recording were flown in from the previous version -- This was an insane task.  The Swiss Army Bass part was recorded to a click track & the drums were Micro managed from there. I went pretty sick on this drum program. Check out towards the end when It goes into 3/4 time.  It sounds like a guy from Long Island with a mullet wearing a jogging suit going completely mental
