I've never been much of a Deadhead but I've gotta say that I think "American Beauty" is one of the finest albums ever made.  Beautiful lyrics like "Attics of my life" or "Ripple"-- there's a serious amount of prayerful eloquence.

 I never gave either of these songs much thought beyond being nice little happy- hippy tunes until I went to learn the lyrics. Then I saw this:

 

        I guess that Robert Hunter guy is a serious poet.

Here's a  partial set list of covers that I perform on this thing. At some point I hope to get around to recording all these. The Egotar is great instrument for writing songs but my  focus here is expanding as a player while producing some familiar  music that's easy to listen for a change. 

I'm always available for solo performances in the tri-state  area. It's light and chill.
